Today we’re happy to announce that we’ve released a new update for Karen: An Outrage Simulator that adds an extra level to all players, completely for FREE.
In the stage, Karen visits the salon and has to contend with a stylist who’s far to familiar with her antics and reveals the long history of Karens that have haunted us since the dawn of time.

Wow. The calendar just kind of melted away, huh?
It feels like yesterday we were prepping for launch, and now we're officially 6 months past release.
A lot has happened in that time (both in-game, and out), but it's been a great ride so far. There have been nearly 60 build updates for Sometimes Always Monsters, including over 600 individual changes, additions or improvements, along with around 30 significant new content additions (features, scenes, or significant characters).
Needless to say, the game has changed a lot since launch, and will continue to evolve as we casually work on it. We still love adding things, improving the experience, and expanding the world players can explore with each subsequent playthrough.
Thanks to its success, we have runway to continue doing this for the foreseeable future, and appreciate all of the feedback we've been given from the community.
As part of the celebration SAM and ASM will be on sale through Steam until October 12th.

Since the beginning of Vagabond Dog’s journey, we’ve been given a helpful boost from the folks at INDIE MEGABOOTH. They were responsible for granting our first booth space at PAX, and had played host for us several times beyond.
Since the COVID-19 situation has put a halt on all major industry events, the INDIE MEGABOOTH is in an odd place.
Without events to showcase developers at, the IMB has ceased operations and will be closing shop for a while.
This week, from May 5 - 12, there will be a massive sale on Steam featuring over 100 amazing games from across the alumni catalogue with special event promotional pricing.
Sometimes Always Monsters and Always Sometimes Monsters will be joining the mix, with some welcoming discounts.
We encourage all of our fans to explore the great offers of the promotion, as participating developers will able to donate a portion of their sale revenues to the IMB to assist with closing costs and assist through these times.
LudoNarraCon is a digital convention happening on Steam this April 25-27. Its purpose is to celebrate narrative video games and bring together a story-loving community with interactive livestreams, downloadable demos, Q&As, and more from many great narrative indie game creators.
Vagabond Dog will be participating in the event with an exhibition of Sometimes Always Monsters. The livestream will include a brief demo of the game, along with a live interview with audience Q&A, hosted live by The Devs.
The presentation will stream at April 25 at 1:00 PM (EST) on the Steam Page for Sometimes Always Monsters, and will be available for on-demand viewing immediately following.
